2011 Chrysler 300

The Chrysler 300C launch is currently scheduled for December 23, 2010. An eight-speed automatic is reportedly to be available late in the year, as we predicted, but it seems to be optional even in non-SRT8 trim; a model so equipped can reportedly hit 30 mpg.

The base models will have a V6 pushing out 292 horsepower, with better highway mileage than the 2010 V6. The optional Hemi will go up slightly to 363 horsepower, but gas mileage reportedly increased. There are to be four models (and a possible SRT8): Touring (with V6), Limited (with V6, leather, heated front seats, fog lamps, backup camera, 18-inch chrome wheels, bright door handles, and more), 300C (standard V8), and 300C AWD.

2011 Dodge Durango

The Dodge Durango

returns in model-year 2011, moving to the Jeep Grand Cherokee platform. Due to begin production in November or December 2010, the new 2011 Dodge Durango will have a 119.8 inch wheelbase — several inches longer than the new Grand Cherokee.
As expected, the Durango will have an optional Hemi V8 providing up to 7,400 pounds of towing, while the standard V6 provides best-in-class V6 towing at 6,200 pounds; both have standard trailer sway control, and both engines have variable valve timing and are available with all wheel drive.

2011 Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited

The 2011 Jeep Wrangler interior has a redesigned instrument panel and new storage areas, wth upgraded materials; a lockable console and upgraded door armrests have more comfortable touch points, and the center stack is easier to reach and operate. Heated, power mirrors are now available, and larger rear windows increase visibility.

Steering-wheel controls have been added for the radio, cruise control, hands-free phone, and other functions, and a new USB interface connects storage devices (thumb drives and most MP3 players) to the Media Center, which now includes streaming Bluetooth audio. Twelve-volt accessory outlets have been added, and a new 110-volt outlet is optional.

Hex-head bolts are used throughout the interior, including on a “Jeep, Since 1941” inlay on the passenger grab handle. Added sound insulation cuts interior noise, and Sahara models have a new body-color hard top. Several new Jeep Wrangler colors are available for 2011, including Detonator Yellow, Deep Cherry Red, Sahara Tan, Cosmos Blue and Bright White.

2010 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Mountain Edition

The Jeep Wrangler Mountain edition is based on the Wrangler Sport S package, and is available on Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited 4x4 models.

Exterior features include a unique 'Mountain' decal on the hood with latitude and longitude coordinates that represent an actual location relating to the 'Mountain' theme of the vehicle; painted high-gloss Mineral Gray 17-inch Moab wheels, grille and bumper appliqués; tubular side steps; 32-inch tires; black tail lamp guards; and a fuel-filler door from Mopar.

Available exterior colors include Rescue Green Metallic Clear Coat, Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl Coat and Deep Water Blue Pearl Coat.

Interior features include an embossed seat insert with embroidered 'Mountain logo,' and anodized graphite heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) rings.
